MAR LA BASQUE+/
4/26/77 - 7/17/03
MAR LA BASQUE+/ , #158919 (La Basque+++/ x Marhaba Safina) . A Breeders Sweestakes mare that, in addition to being a great mom, was US Top Ten English Pleasure, and US Top Ten Informal Combination.
She came to us in her twilight years - no less loved!
"MARLA" leaves us her beautiful daughter, MARLANE A ( Farlanes Pride+/), foaled in 2000.
Galana'Zi
May 22, 1982 - July 6, 2007
Galana'Zi #251128 (Galan by Abu Farwa x Khatum Nejdzi by Ga'Zi) . This double Abu Farwa-bred mare is the most wonderful of mares - sweet & beautiful, a great favorite, a greater mom and my sweet friend that is full of personality. She arrived from Canada on October 3, 2000, to make her "forever" home with us. And so she did.
Quiet, Serene and Eternally Trusting - a trait she passed along to her foals.
"Some horses come into our lives and quickly go.
Other stay, make hoof prints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same"
GALANA'ZI leaves us two full siblings by FV SHARABBA - BRIGHT RABBA (Brighton), born in 2005, will be the replacement for his sire. BINT GALANA'ZI was born 3/25/07 and is her mother's final gift to us.
SX Clerise
May 12, 1994 - July 6, 2009
SX Clerise # 503944 ( SX Staleys Gemini x Bint Cerise) 15HH Bay Mare, foaled 5/12/94. Sired by our beloved Gemini and out of Bint Cerise, the 1978 US National Reserve Champion English Pleasure AOTR and maternal 1/2 sister to the exciting "High Hopes", the big, fancy, free-moving Chestnut, who was US National Champion Park, Formal Driving, Informal Combination and Region 11 Res. Ch. Halter.
A tragic and devastating loss that cut short this beautiful life.
Munson Unique
(Abufarseyn x Abbi )
1978 - 2009
With us just a year, his big heart just gave out - too soon!!
Unique was a beautiful and rare Sabino double Abu Farwa Grandson that was double registered with the Pinto Association of America
See his pedigree here.

The Following Prayer is dedicated to all of the beloved friends that have gone but are not forgotten.
"Prayer for my Love"
I ask a special favor Lord.
For one I held so dear,
For one who meant so much to me,
For one I wish was here.
I know she's there in Heaven, Lord,
If any horse should be,
She was always extra special,
She was always good to me.
Please give her green pastures, Lord,
Now that her work is done,
Where she can romp and play and graze,
Under your eternal sun.
I know that she will be happy,
She's not so hard to please,
And if it's not too much trouble,
Some extra big shade trees.
As I pray Lord, I can see her,
Trotting gently across the sky,
Her deep rich coat is gleaming,
And it hurts to say goodby.
I know none like her, Lord,
Will ever come again,
Please tell her that I miss her,
I thank you Lord.
Amen
