Seraphix's  Pedigree

SERAPHIX, like his dad SX STALEYS GEMINI,  made the long haul from the eastern part of the United States to make his home in Southern Califonia.  He arrived at Pegasus Park on February 17, 2009.  We, literally, found each other.  I knew of Seraphix through pictures taken of him as a youngster by Gemini's owner, Cory Sayen.  When Gemini was gone, I began a long search to find a tail male *Serafix stallion.  Very soon I realized what a big task it would be to find what I was looking for.  Seraphix was again brought to my attention by a very caring lady in Ohio, Ricky Steele,  who realized his quality and wanted a better life for him.  And, so started the saga that brought Seraphix "home" where he is much loved.

I want to use this special page to introduce you to "SERAPHIX",  and some of his special children.  We hope there will be much more to share in the times yet to come.  If you own a SERAPHIX son or daughter,  we would love to hear about them.  Send a picture and a story and we will place it on "SERAPHIX'S PAGE".

As an adult horse, Seraphix (aka "Kid") spent a very happy 10 years with Jim Hagemeyer and Family.
He is shown here with his grandson (at age 4).
Here is an excerpt from an e-mail that I received from Jim when he sent me these priceless pictures.               Photos are from Jim's scrapbook.

"So glad he has the home he
deserves... He was always slightly overweight and gorgeous. I evented,
played polo, and also worked with a professional handler and trainer
with him. He was my horse, and yet when I got off him and put a
grandchild on his back, he was the gentlest kindest animal on the  planet.

He was 3 when I got him..went to Michigan to buy him.  He was running
wild in a large pen and I was not interested. Then, I went into a
ring..stood in the center..he ran up to me and wrapped his head
around me and pulled me in for a hug... a friend who was with me
said..oh hell he is sold..and for 10 years the love affair continued.
He could be used at stud on a long line..soo gentle.
We raised some "kidlings" here on the property til I sold the house
stables and all about 3 years ago. ......Kid frequently strolled the
backyard during parties as one of the  guests..
I thank God you have him.  PS - He was spoiled and deserved every bit.."
