COUNTRY HEIR comes from a family that has been so very successful that they deserve special recognition. His sire, *BASK++ is a household name among Arabian Horse enthusiasts and much is written about him. His dam. COUNTRY BELLE, not so well known, but is, none the less, an aristocrat of the breed. She was purchased from Cedardell Arabians as a 3 year old by Ken & Gradie Bevan, Bevan's Arabians. This lovely grey mare spent the rest of her life at Bevan's in the quiet pursuit of motherhood, having a total of 9 foals during her life. Six of those foals were by the Bevan's excellent Crabbet stallion KIMFA. The remaining 3 full siblings are by *BASK++. Those three are BASQUELLE++, BASQUELITA++ and COUNTRY HEIR, a force to be reckoned with.
Basquelle++ foaled March 30, 1967
The oldest of the three siblings.
BASQUELLE++ was a super star in the show ring. A Halter Champion and a performance champion, she was 1972 US National Reserve Champion Mare, 1973 US National Reserve Champion English Pleasure, 1973 Canadian National Champion English Pleasure and Legion of Merit winner. BASQUELLE++ is the dam of seven foals.

Basquelita++ foaled April 21, 1975
The near-black beauty
BASQUELITA++ was the beauty of the show ring. Also a Halter Champion and a performance champion, she was Region 1 Champion Mare, English Pleasure Champion and Legion of Merit winner. Please note that BASQUELITA++'s show record is incomplete and we are working hard to fill in the blanks. BASQUELITA++ is the dam of eleven foals.
I will add more information on Country Heir's family as I receive it.
